South Bay Eco-Exploration – Sun 9/26, 10:00am – 12:00pm
Learn about some of the varied habitats found at Willapa National Wildlife Refuge! Master Naturalist Rebecca Lexa will lead a walk around the South Bay Unit of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge off 95th Street. You’ll get to see grasslands, riparian habitat, mixed-conifer forest and, perhaps best of all, the restored tidal wetlands along Tarlatt Slough, all with running commentary on the ecology of each place.
- Meets at the Tarlatt Unit parking area along the east end of 95th at the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge sign
