Photography at Leadbetter Point

Categories: ,

Join Assistant Refuge Manager Jake Bonello and Naturalist Andrew Emlen for a guided birding/photography hike at the Leadbetter Point Unit of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge. During this hike you will learn the basics of bird photography and the identification of some of the resident and migrating birds that rely on Leadbetter Point.

A camera will be required to take full advantage of this tour, and wide-angle cameras, like those found in cell phones, are inadequate for capturing birds.  Terrain is uneven with some rolling hills, soft sand, and exposed roots, etc.

  • Meet at the Leadbetter Point parking lot at the northernmost end of Stackpole Road
  • Limited to 15 participants
  • Must be a registered attendee of Wings Over Willapa

PLEASE NOTE: One checkout per mailing address; include the full names of all registrants.
