Waves, Tides and Currents Walk, Friday, 9/24, 10am – 11am
Explore the wind swept beach ecosystem at the mouth of the Columbia River on this easy 1 hour walk with Interpretive Ranger Aaron Webster. We’ll learn about how waves, tides, and currents combine in surprising ways to make this one of the most dangerous stretches of ocean on the planet. With views of the ocean, river mouth and dunes, this hike offers ample birding opportunities.
